The International Medieval Gathering "New Beginning" - 24.06 - 25.06.2022. in Historical Park, village of Neofit Rilski, municipality of Vetrino, awaits its guests!

The participants will be introduced to the ancient and medieval military weapons and techniques of the Bulgars, acquire skills for survival in crisis and disaster situations, take a course in CQC (close-quarter combat) and participate in recreating combat maneuvers, as close as possible to reality (Airsoft simulations in urban conditions of short-range and longer range combat in forest environment)

Activities and workshops at the camp take place under the supervision and guidance of qualified sports pedagogues, coaches and instructors in horse riding, archery, fencing and a military CQC instructor who leads part of the training. Participants learn how to solve problems and overcome challenges, choose the harder right over the easier wrong, and capitalize on their personal strengths.

Historical Park organizes schools, children's and youth camps and green schools lasting between two and seven days. The camps' diverse and highly educational curriculum includes daily activities in the Historical Park and its surrounding sites. The programs last between four and seven days, and each of them enriches the children's knowledge in the following areas: history, geography, arts, archaeology, architecture, folklore, crafts, customs, biology, civic education, and sports. The participants will also be taught respect, work, discipline, and love for the country.
